The AuSable is so beautiful right now!  Colorful flowers  along the banks and all different kinds of moms and their babies!! Fishing is still outstanding with brown Drakes in the evening being the main course with lots of smaller hatches during the day. The Iris are blooming now and that is a sure sign the Hex hatch won't be far behind. Hang on to your hats we are about to take a wild ride!!

You need to get up for a canoe or kayak ride or better yet try your hand at some fishing.

Comes In Like A Lion

Fishing the last week has been a little breezy and cool, but that is to be expected this time of year. The anglers who have braved the conditions have been rewarded with some fine fish! The weather well be getting better and fishing will start to roll!!

Bending The Rod

I have been fishing lately with people who are just interested in bending the rod. This time of year there are a lot of guest at the Club just trying to get some sun and fun on the water! In a couple of weeks the mood will change and a more serious crowd will arrive, Tarpon, Bonefish and Permit will be fish of choice!

Crazy Couple Of Weeks

It has been a crazy couple of weeks! I have been from opposite  ends of the weather scale!!
Started out with some great flats fishing in Key Largo, and then went winter fishing on the Ausable!
Now I am back in Key Largo and trying to re adjust to the warm weather and beautiful sun!!
