It feels so good to be back home on the Ausable. Between catching up on all the repairs and
keeping up with all the rising trout I have been very busy! Upon my return the
river was very high and dirty, but she is almost back to normal. The level is
fine, but still has a little color. The insects on the other had are having a
blast! Ones the fish bite and ones that bite us are all doing well!! It is hard
to decide which fly to use, to many choices.
Big flies are starting to hatch in the evenings, drakes and
iso’s hex can’t be far behind. I still have a few openings in late June. Call
