Crazy Weather

I am not asking anyone from up north to feel sorry for us, but our weather has been crazy down here also! We have had rain we never see this time of year and lots of wind. It looks like things are looking up and water temperature is in good shape. It is all going to improve from here on out!

We have still been catching lots of fish, just maybe not the type we would like. Last week we starting seeing some nice schools of permit, catching will come soon! With the return of the sun we will be able to target and hunt bonefish and tarpon on the flats.

New Year Underway

It is hard to believe we have the holidays are  behind us and a new year is underway. The weather for 2014 has been a challenge and I have had to pass on a few fishing days, but on the days i have gotten out fishing has been good. We have caught some dandy trout lots of big jacks and happy to say some nice snook and bonefish!! We haste also been seeing tarpon on the Oceanside flats. Way early but we will take it. We have had several hookups but not brought one to the boat yet.

If you are  planning on being in the area this winter I would love to get you on the water!
